In 2012, both sides established their own electric tractor project team, the two sides communicated on technology several times, discussed their respective advantages to develop cooperatiion, namely make use of YTO GROUP CORPORATION advantages in manufacturing tractor and General Electric Company providing technical support in electrical (motor, electronic control, battery, etc.) system integration and system optimization, electric tractor system simulation, control strategy, to co-build electric tractor prototype.
