Tractor Maintenance In Summer
Weather is hot in summer, tractor working environment is poor, so pay attention to the following points when used:
1. Prevent Water Tank From Too High Water Temperature
In summer, the tractor cooling water evaporates and consumes fastly, so must add enough cooling water before driving tractor, and often check water level in the work. Single cyliner diesel engine is without water thermometer, also pay attention to the red label height of water tank float, if the float can not work normally, repair promptly. If boiling appears in work, don’t add cooling water directly, should stop working, make the generator speed down, add cooling water slowing until the water temperature reduces (about 60°), in order to avoid water tank frost crack.
2. Ensure Best Time Of Fuel Injection
Should adjust the best time of tractor fuel injection in summer. If fuel supply time is too early, the engine will sound knocking, sometimes inversion phenomenon will appear; fuel supply time also can not be too late, or else the engine will be powerless in work.
3. Keep Tire Proper Pressure
When inflate the tractor tyres, 2%-3% lower than the standard pressure is suitable, to avoid tire burst. After parking, it's better to park tractor in shadow or ventilated cool place, If park in the scorching sun, cover the tyres with straw or else.
4. Choose High Viscosity Lubricate Oil
Lubricate oil with high viscosity can improve the lubricant performance, increase sealing. When replace the tractor lubricating oil, clean the oil filter, collection filter and oil pan thoroughly. If the diesel engine has transfer switch, turn to the "summer" position in summer, make the oil enter into the main oil way again through heat dissipation, in order to avoid lubricate oil viscosity reduce.
5. Use Battery Correctly
In summer, should aspirate some of the electrolyte in tractor battery, add appropriate distilled water, keep the electrolyte proportion in about 1.25, every 5-10 days check the liquid height (the normal liquid level should be 10-15mm higher than the polar plate), add distilled water if insufficient. The battery often should keep enough electricity quantity, when tractor does not work for a long time, remove the battery and put in the ventilated, dry room, charge every 15-20 days. In addition, keep the battery external clean.
6. Reasonable Use And Store
In middle summer, tractor work time should arrange in the morning and evening best, try not to drive at noon. Normal operation load should be at about 85%, avoid overload work. In night, should park tractor in the garage best, if park in the open, cover it with plastic cloth.
