Points When Using Tractor In Winter
I. Do the following three points:
1. before winter, do a comprehensive maintenace for the tractor and completely remove the engine starting problems so as to keep it in good technical condition;
2. the temperature is low in winter, so use No. 0 diesel oil and the good fluidity, low viscosity winter use engine oil;
3. insist on starting engine with scientific method, that is using hot water to preheat engine.
II. Prevent from the following four points:
1. Antifreezing. After working, let the engine turn around idlely about 10 minutes in small throttle, and when machine temperature under 50 degrees, let the cooling water go in order to prevent engine from freezing;
2. Anti-slip. Temperature is low in winter, so reduce speed when tractor is traveling on the snow and ice road to prevent from slip;
3. Fire-proof. Climate is dry in winter, easy to catch fire, so maintenance tractor should be fire-proof, open flame is prohibited lighting, use flashlight when refueling in dark; forbid fire roasting lubricating oil. The right is : fill the outleting lubricating oil of engine oil-pan, into the plastic bucket after working, and before running next day, put the bucket into the iron bowl and heat with fire, when the lubricating oil becomes thinning, add it into the oil-pan, and shake the crankshaft several cycles and then start the engine.
4. Theftproof. Tractor must have a "nest", not only to avoid the wind and rain, retain snow and frost and prolong life, but also to prevent tractor from stolen.
III. Avoid from the following five points:
1. Avoid using open fire roasting machine. It is easy to lead fire and damage some parts beceasue of sudden heat.
2. Avoid letting the cooling water go overnight. Remain cooling water in the water tank and machine body, which will lead the tank and engine damaged by frost.
3. Avoid startting engine before adding cooling water into water tank. It will damage the engine cylinder head, cylinder liner, the body, resulting in the loss.
4. Avoid making the throttle full open suddenly. Make the throttle full open suddenly after starting, speed up engine rapidly, will lead machine damaged by bad lubrication and at the same time increase fuel consumption.
5. Avoid slip slope and dragging start. Slip slope start is steep on the tractor parked in the next day start, the clutch, put up high gear, such as a tractor with the slope the faster the more slip when the throttle, the clutch loose fierce, forcing the start and forced a tractor. Drag-start, is hung from the rope in front of the vehicle, dragged behind the tractor start. Starter slip slope and drag method is not desirable, one unsafe, likely to cause accidents, the second is easy to damage parts.
